The Cagayan Valley Computer and Information Technology College was founded by Mr. Redentor B. Taguinod. It's started out as PCLINK COMPUTER CENTER, a business concentrated in providing computer services and sales to public in the early part of the 90's. Then it expanded its services to educational institutions lacking computer facilities and experienced teachers. These educational institutions belong to private schools in elementary, high school and college. Tutorials were also provided to professionals who desire to have knowledge in computer technology.
In the year 1997 the school applied programs for CHED & TESDA, such as Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT), Bachelor of Science in Office Administration (BSOA) and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) for CHED and for TESDA, Computer Technician, Certificate in Information Technology, and Computer Secretarial Course.
At the start of the school opening in October of 1998, about twenty (20) students enrolled. Most of them are transferees from other schools. Majority of these students are enrolled in Computer Information Technology Course. Currently, the college is catering its service to more than 300 students in its fifth year of operation.
